Zachary Stanton '19 Recruiting Profile

       Growing up I always aspired to be the best in everything I could. I would jump at any chance to compete and win in challenges. After elementary school, I started putting in lots of hard work and became the fastest 100 meter runner in my school before my freshman year.

        After ninth grade, I was one tenth of a second from qualifying for districts. This did nothing but motivate me to get better for next year. After an intense off season, I shaved off 4 tenths of a second from my time. Now I am just 4 hundredths of a second off states time and I hope to hit that this year and improve through my senior year. I still kept my grades at 4.0 GPA as well as playing soccer in the Fall . Track has taught me to be a better person, athlete, and leader. I am looking forward to continuing my track career in college and hope to attend medical school and study radiology.
