I believe that the highest accomplishment in life is to reach what your body is fully capable of. I strive to keep this mindset in all things that I do, mentally and physically.
My tenacity towards the things I do, both academically and athletically, is what I consider to be that which sets me apart from other potential recruits. Even though track is generally considered a solo sport, I do my best to be a teamplayer and push my teammates to be the best version of themselves they can be.
This was my second year of track, and although I made it to the State Championships, the season overall did not go how I would've liked. I was only able to run in a few meets due to cancellations, and only had good competition in two of them, thus making it difficult to really test myself and see what I could do. That being said, I have been constantly working this off-season to explode onto the scene my Junior year. My goal currently is to get recruited to a college and be the best student and athlete for them that I can possibly be.
