Alex Conetta '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Alex Conetta and I am a 200m,  400m, and 4x400m runner from Fort Mill, SC.  I've been competively running for 6 years, competed in the Junior Olympics, and last season finished 6th in the open 400m at the SCHSL 4A State Championships.   In June 2021 the Rock Hill Herald named  me first team All Area for the 4x400m relay, and second team All Area for the open 400m.  During my high school career I have been consistently lowering my PR.  This season my goal is to break 49 seconds in the 400m and 22 seconds in the 200m.  I have a strong competive drive and will work hard to be one of the fastest runners on my college team.  I'm looking for a good fit where I can make a positive contribution to the team my first year, continue to improve my times, and earn a quality education.
