Personal Statement
Running is one of the most important things in my life. Joining the high school track team changed me in ways I could not have imagined. It molded me into who I am today, and continues to push me to be a better person. The comradery, pressure, and work that goes into training and racing is a major driving force for me. After high school, I want to continue running competitively, not only for myself, but to represent my team. The bonds built over the strenuous effort of training, and the support on race day is such an incredible feeling, it pushes me to be a stronger runner. I plan to be a valuable asset to the track team, and to continue the sport I fell in love with.
