Alonzo Abara '25 Recruiting Profile

I am currently a Junior of the 2025 class. I have been participating in a number of sports for as long as I can remember but Track and Field is what really stuck with me. I started Pole Vaulting my freshman year and I am determined to preform and achieve the very highest level that I can in this sport. I've maintained a high GPA in a number of high level college and AP course as well as founding a club at my school based on the principles of accountability and self-improvement. I have also volunteered in a number of ways across my community with things such as coaching both swim and pole-vaulting lessons, starting up a pole-vaulting program at my middle school, and helping incoming freshman navigate choices for electives at my schools "Freshman Frenzy" event.
