Khaedyn Lawson '24 Recruiting Profile

I've always felt running has been an integral part of my life. I have been running for 6 years, and plan to run for the next 4 in college. Being a member of my team for so long, I have embraced my role as a leader and can be seen giving pointers or cheering for them on race days. I love the goals and challenges I push myself for, and my biggest senior year goal is making it to state in the 800m and breaking my school's record of 1:55.90. In college I plan to study biology, animal sciences, or biochemistry. After gaining a bachelor's degree in any of those I will continue studying for four more years to acquire my doctorate in veterinary medicine. I have always been driven to conquer the goals I set for myself, and I am excited about what the future holds for me. I cannot wait to see where I end up, and the teammates I will get to call my family.
