Nate Perry '22 Recruiting Profile

I am a highly motivated, dedicated student and athlete. I have been running since I was 9 years old. I run both Cross Country and Track (middle to long distance). I am homeschooled and although our homeschool team is affiliated with Virginia Academy, our coach is a volunteer who also homeschools his kids. We only officially meet twice a week and do not have access to practices on an actual track. So during track season, we practice on park trails. I am certain that at a college with proper facilities and training (the majority of my training is on my own) I will grow into an asset for any team. My dream is to run on a college team while earning my degree. I am also in the US Naval Sea Cadet Corps. I am a Petty Officer 2nd class, but will be ranking up to Chief Petty Officer by the time I graduate in June 2022.  I live on a small farm in northern VA with goats, chickens, and pigs. I am responsible for working our farm while training, getting course work done, and working at both Chick Fil A and for Mill Creek Farms. I love hard work and being outdoors. I also have 5 brothers who keep me really humble.
