Dear Coach,
My collegiate goals are high but reasonable. I want to be on a D1 cross country and track team, and I want to be the best runner I can possibly be. That’s my goal. I believe I can fit in with most any team, as I have the ability to get along with others well, no matter who they are. I’ve been told I have great character. I never get in trouble or do things I’m not supposed to, I stay in line with the rules very well. But, I would say my greatest characteristic is my drive to always improve. I always push my hardest at every practice, but smart enough to avoid injuries. I listen to my body well and I know its limits, so don’t count on me missing a race. I might not be the very best academically, but I’m not very far from it. I participate in my school’s Tri-M. (A music honor society) I help out with whatever they need whenever I can. Furthermore, I believe I can be a great fit for your team due to my character, hard work, and academic level. Bonus: I recently have broke my PB in the mile, it is unofficial but it was about a 4:55, and that was after two other mile repeats.
I would like to add results from a recent, in person, 10K race. Check it out here: https://www.athlinks.com/event/331168/results/Event/906932/Results
Thank you,
Noah LeCain
