Steven Painter '26 Recruiting Profile

Hello coaches, I’m Steven Painter, a 2026 track sprinter. My track journey started in the outdoor season of freshman year. Ever since the beginning I have always loved the sport even if I didn’t have the skill set I have now. Training for track as well as football helped me improve in both sports but mainly track. My times decreased and you could tell I put in work in the off season. I joined a track club as well as had football practice in the off seasons and I had school and club practice during the season. Throughout that time period I had to overcome minor injuries and more recently I’m continuing to overcome another setback. While going through these seasons I also continued to grow my education. My educational aspirations are to major in Sports Medicine in college but also while in highschool maintain a high GPA as well as raise it as much as I can before I graduate.
