Personal Statement

For me, school has always been a priority.  I hope to make it through college with my Bachelors of Science in Chemistry in order to pursue a career in forensics.  Being a STEM major, I am often under a lot of stress.  In order to mitigate that stress, I use sports as my outlet.  At first, I didn't like competing, but loved sports.  However, growing up  I got more into it and found that I performed best when I went through vigorous competitions.  Going into college, I hope to continue competing and that the higher level of competition will push me even harder.

Over the last 4 years, pole vaulting has become my passion.  I believe that the comradery and team spirit that is in pole vaulting makes it one of the best sports out there.  I want to add to that comradery on the team that I end up joining.  I believe that my enthusiasm and love for pole vaulting will help me easily integrate into any team and make it all a great experience for everyone.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
