I am a sprinter from Pleasant Prairie, WI. I train and compete with both my high school team (Indian Trail Hawks) and my local club team (Kenosha Phlyerz). I have a 3.1 GPA and made honor roll this year. My events include 55/60M, 100M, 200M, 400M, 4x100M, 4x200M. I am also doing some training for long jump. Being on the track is my absolute favorite place to be. I am committed and driven to improve my performance and train five days a week year round to do so. My junior year I was awarded "2018 MVP" and I hold the school record for the 200M dash. I competed on the varsity team, was a state qualifier for the 200M dash and the 400M dash outdoor, 4th place state for the 4x200M relay indoor, 5 first place finishes and 10 second place finishes. My sophomore year I was awarded "2017 Most Improved" by my high school team. I competed on the varsity team my sophomore year with 8 first place finishes and 5 second place finishes between my individual and relay events.
I am looking for a university that offers a degree in exercise science as well as opportunities for me to train and compete in both individual and relay events. I believe my best fit would be at the DI, DII, or NAIA level, although I am open to other options that would meet my academic and athletic goals.
