Nathan Motherway '19 Recruiting Profile

I love pole vaulting!  I aspire to vault nationally at the top level.  With my work ethic, focus, and dedication 18'+ should be achievable in the right program.  I understand the amount of work that will go into accomplishing this goal and am prepared and excited to do it.  Call me crazy but I also love doing the workouts necessary to improve my speed, strength, and technique.  My coaches in both football and track have told me they have to be careful because I often work too hard.

I want to find a coach I can develop a partnership with in the vault.   One that knows how to keep the intense work we do to succeed fun.  One that has a well developed program with proven success.  Also one that has the flexibility to make adjustments when necessary both on and off the runway.

Academically I aspire to maintain a 3.5-4.0 gpa in the major of my choice, complete graduate school, and ultimately have a meaningful career as a teacher and a coach.
