2019 HighlightsPersonal Statement
My name is Cameron David Fimbres. I aspire to play volleyball in college, it's always been a dream of mine! More importantly receive a quality education. I have been playing volleyball for 6 years, two of that on a club team. I probably would've never played volleyball if my dad hadn't encouraged me to try my hand at everything I could. In middle school, I was an Iron Athlete like my older brother. That means we participated in four sports all three years of middle school (basketball, soccer, volleyball, and track) . As a Sophomore at Pueblo High School, I led my team to the state playoffs for the first time in four years while placing in the top 7 in kills in the state of Arizona. As a 16 year old, I played on my club team's 18-1's team as a starting OH and helped them qualify for the 2019 nationals tournament. I would describe my personality as charismatic and high energy. This is reflected in both my love for life and my love for volleyball. I would love to play college volleyball!
