In my freshman year, I was approached by my high school coach to tryout for volleyball, he noticed my jumping abilities and my vertical was measured at 37 inches. I made the varsity team, and that's where my passion for volleyball began. I was the starting middle on the varsity team, that had moved up to Alpha League. My contribution to the team in blocking and kills helped the team enormously that year. I continued to grow through my Sophomore year and attended multiple camps over the summer in order to improve my blocking and attacking. At the end of my Sophomore year, my team made it to CIF and lost in the first round. I made 2nd team all alpha league and was voted most improved player. I joined SMBC my junior year and it has also helped me improve my overall playing, and has made me a better blocker and greatly improved my hitting. I would love to see myself playing at a D-I college however , I will also consider a very competitive D-III school. I plan to major in Business and would like a school with a strong program. My goal is to continue to work on my defense , improve my game and become a versatile player. As I come to the end of my Junior year, my team won Gold Coast League Champions.
