Logan Clark '18 Recruiting Profile

Athletics has been a passion for me since I can remember.  When an unexpected injury ended my dream of playing professional soccer, I started playing volleyball and have not looked back since.

More than the honor of awards and the glory of personal recognition, I can now appreciate what soccer and volleyball have taught me about myself.  I have learned that I crave competitive environments, especially ones where I have to fight for playing time.   My volleyball experience has also taught me to enjoy intense preparation and how to work with a team toward a common goal.   I have also learned to remain positive and persistent amid the disappointments that come with competition.  

I also apply these lessons in the classroom.  As a Dual Language Immersion Student in Spanish since Kindergarten, I have been completely responsible for my academic success.  My family does not speak Spanish and therefore was unable to assist me with my homework or studies.  I will graduate from High School with a Dual High School Diploma as a result of my 12 year academic commitment.

I look forward to preparing each day to play Division I Volleyball for a school with high academic standards and an athletic program with a proven track record of success.  Upon graduation from college, I plan on attending Dental School and ultimately starting a successful practice.
