Hello, thank you for taking the time to view my profile!
I started playing club volleyball on my club’s secondary team and constantly found myself having to put in more hours and push myself harder than others in order to work my way up the ladder. With a lot of perseverance, I was fortunate enough to eventually play for our 1’s team, and along the way, I have been told that I am one of our club's hardest working players.
Off the court, I always try to make a conscious effort to carry myself with respect and dignity. This applies to school as well. I realize that I have been granted an amazing opportunity to play volleyball while receiving a great education - an opportunity that I will never take for granted. Therefore I will always make an effort to excel academically by committing myself to rigorous honors and AP courses and focusing on maintaining a high GPA.
I am also extremely lucky to be surrounded by very supportive parents, coaches, and teammates, and in reciprocation, I strive to be the best teammate possible for all of my present and future teams. I pride myself on being the loudest player on and off the court and always cheer my teammates on regardless of the situation. Overall, I truly believe that, given the opportunity, I can bring both energy and a strong voice to your team.
