My goals are to attend college and play volleyball at the collegiate level. I aspire to obtain a degree in the field of psychology and become a Forensic Psychologist. I like to play sports but my only passion is to play volleyball. I understand that there is always room for improvement and therefore, I arrive early and stay late after practice. I am open to my coaches’ instruction and guidance, which can only improve my skill as a libero.
I’ve had the privilege to play club volleyball and have competed amongst some of the best players in the sport. This experience has taught me to adapt to different skill levels and to work with diverse teammates; however, I aim for an opportunity to play at a higher level. I come from a family that values education and therefore, I have always been held accountable to be a good student. My parents would not allow me to play volleyball if my grades were below a C average. For this reason, my passion to play volleyball motivates me to maintain an academic standing of a 3.9.
