Gerardo Quiroz '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Gerardo my goal is to play professional volleyball one day I believe hard work and refinement trumps even talent I base myself on the idea of giving 100 percent on and off-court. Ever since I was a kid I've always liked the sport I loved watching university play on TV  and loved watching it in the Olympics when I finally got to high school and became part of the team and it quickly became the thing I loved above all else. I base myself on constantly trying new things and reinventing myself in order to reach victory ill do my best to help create a team worthy of praise and will do my very best to accommodate every player's needs  I consider myself to be tenacious because if I cant do something ill usually obsess over it and keep practicing till I can I also consider myself crafty and very observant I like to keep an eye on my teammate's conditions I like to think outside the box when I play and adapt to teams styles and come up with countermeasures accordingly I believe there's always something to learn even from the opponent and sometimes ill even turn their moves into my own I love this sport and I can't imagine my life without it thank you for taking some time out of your day to read this and I hope maybe someday in the future I can play for your team.
