Personal Statement
My father graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a graduate degree in engineering. I hope to one day become a engineer or architect like him. I enjoy spending time with family, friends, and my teammates. I love playing sports like volleyball and soccer. On and off the field I bring great responsibility and leadership to support and lead my friends and teammates. I bring lots of energy to every game and I always push my self and work hard. I never give up.
I have been playing sports my entire life. I used to play baseball and football when I was in elementary and middle school. I have always played soccer and I have been playing volleyball for a couple years. I also enjoy playing beach volleyball with friends whenever I go to the beach. I now play on one of the top men’s volleyball teams in the nation for 15 year olds at Coast Volleyball in San Diego. I have played competitive soccer at Del Mar sharks soccer ever since I was five. I play soccer for Torrey pines high school and we are the number one team in our district. I also made the JV volleyball team as a freshman. I love playing sports so much because I love to make new friends and I always try my hardest.
In terms of academics, I have all A’s and B’s in my classes. I have been taking a accelerated honors math class ever since seventh grade. And I am also taking honors chemistry. The subjects I love the most are math, engineering, physics, chemistry, and English. I take accelerated classes because I love to push my self even harder with the subjects I love. I hope to one day become a proffesional volleyball or soccer player and start a engineering/architecture company. I believe I will make a good player because I will never give up and I love to bring leadership and energy to every team.

Are you in honor classes?
Yes. I have taken math honors since the beginning of middle school, so five years now. These are accelerated math courses going at a faster pace, taking more modules and learning harder math. I have also taken English honors before in 8th grade. I took Honors chemistry my sophomore year and got A's both semesters. Again the course just goes over more information.Are you in AP/IB classes?
Yes. I am in AP Physics 1 right now and got an A+ my junior year first semester and I have a A+ right now. I am also in AP Psychology and got an A last semester and I have an A right now. I am enrolled for 6 AP's my senior year including AP Physics 2, AP Calculus BC, AP Chemistry, AP Government, AP Economy, and AP Environmental Science.Registered with the NCAA Eligibility Center?

- ActivitiesI am involved in 2 in school volunteering programs. I am in Nature Preservation club, a club that focuses on keeping the environment clean and doing anything we can to help like trash pick up. I am also in Spanish Honors Society, a volunteering program that works at carnivals, marathons, homeless shelters, and more. I am also in an out of school volunteering program called Teen Volunteers in Action. We work at many homeless shelters making food for those in need, we also work at the special olympics and other programs all through out San Diego. I have been a part of this program for 6 years now. I am also in my schools robotics club, we go to local and out of state competitions competing with other schools from the nation. I am a part of the CAD and programming part of the robot and I am also one of the heads of Media and marketing team.
