Kyle McCarthy '23 Recruiting Profile

I'm tall, athletic, and smart. I'm a player that focuses on my academics so that I can be on the court for as long as I can. I am personable, down right competitive, and thrive under pressure. I like to have a good time on the court with my teammates bettering ourselves. I practice hard, and am the first to arrive and the last to leave. I win with humility and lose with grace. My stand out qualities are that I am coachable, eager to learn, and improve.

I started this sport late, the summer after COVID, after my sophomore year.   There is still a lot for me to learn.  Thankfully I am athletic and have natural ability.  My club coach saw this in me and put me on their highest skilled team knowing that I would work hard to elevate my play.   I am constantly seeking to grow my ability on the court, and look to my coaches for feedback on how to improve.  I have fallen in love with this sport and am serious about dedicating my time to it in college.
