Personal Statement

I use every opportunity to express my love for volleyball, whether: sporting USA, AVP, CBVA, club or school gear; dragging every ounce of daylight for matches on the beach or in our backyard court; or playing my hardest and smartest in competitions at the highest level in national and regional indoor tournaments. My love for the sport and dedication to it has been my life.

After playing volleyball at SB Coast for three years (2017-18, 2018-19, 2019-20) I went to south Orange County to play with 949 (2020-21, 2021-22) for the opportunity to challenge my skills and learn more about the sport in a competitive environment with great coaching. This year (2022-2023), Santa Barbara Volleyball Club (SBVC) returned its boys division to the highest competitive level and I have returned to my hometown to continue my club volleyball experience.

I have been excited to play at the collegiate level since I began to understand the recruiting, commitment, and varsity play process. Choosing a school that is a great fit for me academically and athletically is absolutely critical, as my life goals of playing volleyball for decades come into focus.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
