Bardia Samia '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Bardia Samia and I am a 6' middle blocker and outside hitter. I fell in love with the game when I was about 11 years old when I was still living in Iran. It was when I came to the US during my freshman year of high school that I got the chance to play in an actual volleyball team. During my sophomore year, I was able to experience being the co-captain and MVP of my school's JV team which we got the championship that year.  I started playing for City Beach club during my junior year despite my family's financial hardship, which I'm really thankful for.  I've been trying to keep all of my grades up in school and challenge myself with some harder classes while also learning English. It is important to me to improve both athletically and academically, and I am ready to work hard for it.
