Jake Morales '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello, I'm Jake. I have made a commitment to play volleyball at El Camino Real Charter High School right now. I only recently began playing during my sophomore year, and I fought tirelessly to get my varsity position on the school team. It all worked out, as I am now the starting hitter/DS on the varsity team. I'm also extremely flexible in that I'm always making adjustments for the mistakes I make and am able to pick up new skills along the road. I joined WEBVC 18s Waves Club squad as I am now attempting to increase my volleyball knowledge and expertise. I am aware that many others play my position and aspire to do so for a good college, but knowing this helps me to keep striving to be the greatest and to be able to compete in higher level volleyball. I'm excited to have the chance to help a team and continue my athletic career even though I am aware that I have a lot to learn. Furthermore, my academic performance isn't as strong as it could be, but I plan to make up for it in my senior year by working harder than I did in the previous three years of high school. Moreover, when I'm not playing volleyball I always try to stay active as in going to the gym every morning or simply going out for a jog. I also enjoy playing volleyball with my friends and just having fun no matter where or what I'm doing.
