Personal Statement

My name is Andres Delgado and I am a student athlete in my junior year. I start as a libero on the varsity volleyball team at Alonzo and Tracy Mourning Sr. High in Miami, FL. For club season I play for coastal volleyball on the 18’s team. I first started playing volleyball for fun when I was in eighth grade but started to grow a competitive attitude towards it during my freshman year. I have three years of Varsity experience and 2 years as a starting libero.

This coming school season I am hungry not only for a state ring but for a great season with amazing teammates and worthy opponents. For college I would like to play and study at the highest level my skills and hard work will take me and wish to play with great teammates who will stick with each other through the hard times and the amazing moments in volleyball.
