In college, I wish to first, receive a quality education. I believe that this makes me a worthy candidate because some student-athletes don't understand that student comes first. I have dedicated myself in the classroom before the gym, and my aspiration to not only be a excellent volleyball player, but to get a degree and move on from college with a plan of attack. Secondly, I wish to give everything I have to my college. I understand that it's not a simple process, and that it takes long hours to be a student-athlete, but that's what I live for. When my classmates are sleeping at night, I am studying for my AP World exam. When my teammates are watching TV on the couch, I'm in the gym, working on my craft, and my body, to be the best player I can be. Lastly, I wish to set a good example for my sister and for the community. Last year, I did 210 service hours and joined Best Buddies. I have made many friends in the club, and my actions have convinced my sister to join the club as well. Now, I wish to show my sister, that hard work can get you somewhere in life.
