Caleb Welling '24 Recruiting Profile

I am a well-rounded and versatile volleyball player.  I have been playing outside hitter for Florida Elite Volleyball Academy 18U club team for the past two seasons, and was awarded Offensive Player of the Year last season.  Thanks to a rule change, I was also able to play a high school season with SLAM Academy in Tampa during the 2023-24 school year (since there is no boys volleyball in my county). I broke the school record for aces, kills and points. At the end of the season, I was ranked 6th among Florida high school players in aces, 19th in hitting percentage, and 35th in kills. I have played volleyball since 6th grade and have developed a great love for the sport. My goal is to continue to develop my skills at the most competitive collegiate level I can while pursuing a professional pilot or business degree.  I am hard-working, coachable, motivated, easy-to-get-along-with, and a good student.  I feel strongly that I can be an asset to any men's volleyball team.
