I started playing volleyball in Middle School and have been fortunate enough to be able to continue it into High School. One of the biggest learning experiences for me came last year when my high school team finished 8th in the state of Florida. That team had 8 seniors on it who all taught me a lot throughout the season, including how to stay focused in games and how to work hard when adversity hits.
In the classroom, I stay focused and value my grades very highly. I have held a 4.0 GPA for my entire school career and continue to hold that through my Sophmore year in High School. I have taken one AP course before this year and am taking one AP course this year as well. In math, I am taking Pre- Calculus as a Sophmore which sets me up to be able to finish Calculus before leaving High School.
On the court, I work hard and try my best to be whatever my team needs me to be. Whether that be someone who keeps everyone focused on the court or someone who brings energy from the bench, I try to do whatever it takes to win.
