Devin Lee '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is Devin Lee and I am a 6'1  junior from Honolulu Hawaii, out of McKinley High School.  I have been playing volleybal since the the fifth grade til now. I have been a starter since my sophmore year as a setter and a defensive specialist.  The awards i have recieved were honorable mention in OIA white all-star and hopefully my goal is to get at least second team or higher.  It is my dream to attend college and play volleyball becaus every day I can picture myself playing on the court in a college gymnasium.  My plans after high school is to go to a junior college and then a university, so far the only junior college that comes to mind is orange coast college which is located in Costa Mesa, California and than I would like to go California Baptist University which is located in Riverside, California.  For college I would like to play as a setter, defensive specialist, or libero in a division two or three school.  My wish list for college must be a safe and learning environment, have a biology major, and a lot of clubs and extra-curricular activities.  I don't really mind the siz e of the college because a college is a place to learn and to me it doesn't really matter on the size of the campus.  Every day for at school I always think about tuition because tuition for colleges and university is really high and I feel like I can't afford it, and my friends and family say apply for scholarships but to get a scholarship you have to be accepted to one you jus don't get it, but I feel like I can get scholarships with the help of counselors and peers as they can help me.  After high school my goals are to get accepted into a division two or three school, and I can't always expect myself to be a starter but i know i can be a good team player, and supporter.
