Aloha,
My name is Colin Ilagan and I was a senior at Mililani High School. My goal is to play volleyball at the collegiate level while working towards a bachelor's degree or higher. At school, I strive for good grades and to be an overall good student. I even challenge myself by taking honors and AP classes. I'm a hard-working student that tries my best in everything I do. I've maintained a 3.7 GPA or higher ever since middle school, always striving for a 4.0. I finished my senior year with a 4.1 GPA and had a cummulative GPA of 3.9. Along with school I also do community service for Leo club and have done Key club in the past. Every day I aim to be a good student and person.
On the court, I'm very competitive and I am always looking for new ways to get better. This year will be my eighth year playing volleyball and my sixth year playing club volleyball. I play for Ku'ikahi Volleyball Club as a libero for my 18s Red team. On my high school volleyball team, I played libero for my freshman year and helped lead my team to OIA West champions. I even managed to win MVP at the end of the season. I was on varsity from sophomore year to senior year. Covid has prevented us to have a real full season during my sophomore year and junior year, but during my senior year, I helped lead our team to an undefeated season, winning D1 west champions, oia championship runner up, and 3rd in the state of Hawaii. Whether it 's club or school volleyball I always work hard for a starting position. My coaches describe me as consistent, dependable, coachable, and hard-working. I am truly blessed to be given the opportunity to play this sport and I hope that I can play this sport at a more competitive level.
Thanks for taking the time to look at my profile!
Mahalo,
Colin Ilagan
