My name is Jacob Kelly, a setter, from Plainfield, Illinois. I am currently a Junior at Plainfield Central High School and have been playing volleyball for 5 years. I have also played 1 season at Sports Performance VBC and 1 season at Club 1 VBC. I really enjoy playing volleyball because it is a team sport and I think playing on a team allows me to have unique experiences that I will not find anywhere else. Volleyball has shaped me into the person I am today, whether it was the coaches I had, the life skills I have learned, or the teammates I have had.
My main academic goal is to get a quality education ,so I can pursue a career in athletic training. I know it will be hard, but being a student-athlete I know that it is possible and I can do it. I am looking forward to my Senior year in high school and taking classes that will prepare me for college.
