Gavin Hagerty '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Gavin Hagerty, and I've been playing volleyball for three years. I'm thrilled to share that I made it onto one of the top-tier teams for my age group at Academy for my third year of club play. As a setter, I take on the responsibility of being a leader on and off the court. I lead by example and ensure that my team is always in the same successful headspace as I am. I'm hard-working, well-balanced, focused, and highly coachable. When playing volleyball, I am focused on the competition and doing my best for the team. I have played travel baseball and basketball and enjoy golfing with my friends. Recently, I've also started playing beach volleyball and have enjoyed success playing two's. Over the next year, I plan to continue developing my skills both academically and athletically. My ultimate goal is to continue playing volleyball in college and excel in my setting abilities and academic pursuits.
