Personal Statement
Kia ora,
My name is Lorenzo Pearce and I think I am the perfect candidate for your team. I am a confident and outgoing individual with strong leadership skills, demonstrated through my role as Head Boy at Rutherford College. My commitment to volleyball, has fostered teamwork, discipline, and adaptability. I absolutely love interacting with people face to face, especially in team settings. Being able to talk to people with different backgrounds and develop and gain new perspectives is something I really enjoy and look forward to doing in my later education.
I have played volleyball at every level available to me and I wish to continue with this and further enhance my skill of the game. I think competing at the collegiate level in the USA would benefit my ability greatly and help me along my volleyball journey.

2024 Competed at Club Nationals with Waitakere Rebels Volleyball Club
2024 Competed at the Inter-Provincial Championship(Wellington) with WECA (Waitakere, East, Central Auckland) for their U19 team and was captain. Placing 5th in the country.
2024 Head boy of Rutherford College
2023 Competed for AMP(Aotearoa Maori Poirewa) Men’s team in the Cook Islands and won the Matariki Cup
2023 Competed for AMP(Aotearoa Maori Poirewa) U18 team in Thailand
