Caleb Mears '25 Recruiting Profile

• Over the past few years, volleyball has become one of the biggest parts of my life, and over the past few months especially it has grown even more so. I have seen great improvement in myself in both physical and mental aspects of my game. Recently I was selected to train with the Volleyblacks (NZ National Mens Team) Which is a great achievement for me at 18, but I still aspire to achieve greater. 

Outside of playing volleyball one of my deepest passions resides in coaching volleyball, I already have a couple of years experience under my belt and want to continue developing myself as a coach and grow to the point where it can be my career. I have a background in a variety of different sports; the main ones being soccer and tennis. Playing these sports helped develop unique skills and helped to build my character especially having played both team and individual sports.
