Ty Richardson '25 Recruiting Profile

When it comes to sports - people would describe me as: determined, focused, teachable, positive, high thinker- understands sport strategy when asked to perform or learn new skills and plays.

I'm dreaming big with a goal of playing professionally one day the next step is College. 

Good communicator, As Captain, I lead my team, build them up with positive energy, words of encouragement and give guidance. Coaches would say "I read the game".  I see it the game.  I pay attention of players, how they play, how coaches respond, are they nervous, calm, aggressive, what drives 'time outs' and often can predict what moves are coming next.  

I don't believe in magic - I believe in hard work.  I know natural talent will only take me so far - sheer determination and hard work will take me to the top.  

In regards to my academics, it's not my best work.  I know I'm capable of achieving more, but recognise I need to focus on being organised and put as much effort into my academic work as I do my sports.  To make this happen, I'm considering getting tutoring.
