Personal Statement
My name is Daniel Musa, and I am a 2025 opposite/outside hitter aspiring to compete at the collegiate level while pursuing a bachelor's degree in business. My goal is to secure a scholarship to support my college journey, allowing me to make my family, friends, and country proud. I come from a small country in Central America called Belize. I have proudly represented Belize on the national team across various age groups, including U19, U23, and U18. My experience includes competing in events such as the U19 NORCECA Pan American Cup, the AFECAVOL U23 tournament, and the U18 CODICADER Games, where we earned a bronze medal. I take great pride when competing with my country which is a big reason why i want to make Belize proud. Currently, I play with EA Volleyball Academy in several local tournaments and am a member of Saint Johns College, where we are back-to-back national champions. In 2023, I received the Regional Best Hitter award and the National MVP award, reflecting my dedication and performance on the court. I believe I would be an asset to any collegiate volleyball team, bringing energy, resilience, and a positive attitude both on and off the court. Education is paramount to me; I maintain a 3.9 GPA on a 4.5 scale while balancing my academic responsibilities with training and practice schedules.
I am committed to making a meaningful impact in both athletics and academics, and I look forward to the opportunities that lie ahead.
