Personal Statement
I am a South African born German, with immense interest in the game of Volleyball. I am used to being under pressure and admire it to a certain extant, as it pushes me to give 100% and not to let my teammates and coaches down. I am a good listener who tries to be as open minded as possible and am prepared to learn new methods and tactics. I like to think of myself as a supportive figure in the team, who tries to keep everybody motivated, on and off the court. I was selected to represent South Africa at the U19 Beach Volleyball World Championships in Thailand in 2021 yet was unable to participate as we were excluded from the event due to the discovery of the Omicron variant of Covid-19. I differ from other players in my age group, as I have an immense desire to be able to deliver the best performance possible and to excel.
