Sebastian Huyke Calderon '21 Recruiting Profile

I was ten years old when I first started playing volleyball and right away saw something in it. Ever since then, I fell in love with it and started playing every single day. One of my dreams is to become a student-athlete in a university in the United States playing the sport I love.  In this new chapter that I will encounter in a couple of months, I would like to be part of a volleyball program where I develop myself in and off the court. A program that makes me a better athlete, but most importantly a better person. I'm a very persistent, humble, responsible, hard working and coachable person. What makes me standout from the rest of my volleyball colleagues is my eager to learn. I'm always open to hear all the constructive criticism that coaches, audience and parents have to say because they play a huge role in my development as an athlete. Another thing that makes me stand out is my leadership in the court and off the court. I'm going to give my all no matter where I go. I'm looking forward for this new chapter!
