Personal Statement
- Hey coach,
I am Marc 18 years old and i am living in Germany near Munich.
I love playing volleyball since 3 years and i am very passion about it. Therefore i am looking for an opportunity to get better in it, while playing in a ambitious College / Junior College Team. In Addition i am looking forward to study internationally in the US.
I love to combine sports and academics. Nevertheless i am aweare that it is also a challange to manage school and perform in sport.
In Germany there is a lack of sports interest in schools. But in the United States it is different. In the colleges you get supported by coaches, managers, therapist and of course your team. And sport is seen as something professional, interesting and binding. This unique experience is, my desire.
To make my dream alive, i wish to receive a scholarship. Studying in US is expensive, due to high tuition and fees, compared to Germany or other countries. That's why i need financial aid in order to make it possible.
I have many experience (10 years) with playing a sport on a high level, due to playing ice-Hockey professionally in Germany and how to live an athlete live. As for volleyball it should be familiar playing with good people and train a lot.
Furthermore I like travelling and watching Ice-Hockey, Football, Basketball.
I know it is not easy to get scouted, but i am sure that i am the right one to play for your men's volleyball team.
