Personal Statement
HI I am Adham Sharaky
I have been playing volleyball since I was 11 years old. From the moment I started playing I have aspired to play at the top level and for me, attending college outside of Egypt will help me gain experience with new coaches and teammates and also in the academic areas of Computer Science and Business.
I have a strong serve, quick movement, and a high volleyball IQ. I am a team leader and try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates out of the court and in court. By achieving titles with my new college team to be one of the hardest working players and one of the hardest working recruits you'll find.
Academically, I try to balance studying and volleyball and I studying to maintain a high GPA. I also volunteer at community service and charity events and am currently a member of the MUN board in my school. My current GPA is 3.6 out of 4 I am still working to improve my scores on the standardized test ACT as well in GPA.
I want to join a college where I can become a better player on the volleyball court and inside the classroom. I aspire to be a role model to other athletes and also find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. Getting a college scholarship will change my life and make my parents proud, as I am determined to succeed academically and as a sports player.
I have done plenty of community service and tutoring for younger grades and charity events to send the money to cancer hospitals and collect clothes to help people who are in huge need of help.
