When I was in my freshman year of high school, I watched my first volleyball game and became super interested. I knew I wanted to play, but my high school didn't offer a volleyball program, so I decided to change that. I gathered a couple of friends who shared the same interest in the sport as I do, and we formed a team. The moment I stepped on the court, I knew I was in love and wanted to play at a higher level. I believe that playing the sport I love at a collegiate level would change my life.
Since I first stepped on that court, all my training has been dedicated to volleyball exclusively. I joined a club called Maine Juniors after being scouted at my school's tournament. I consistently work to get better year-round, and even when I'm not on the court, I practice as much as I can. I am very coachable and always accept feedback to try to be the best player I can possibly be.
I am not only hardworking on the court but also in the classroom. I have a 3.9 cumulative GPA and take several honors classes, as well as an AP class. I have maintained honor roll status since joining high school, and I am committed to maintaining that until the end. I am looking for a college where I can push my athletic and academic skills. I am open to all options and would like to find the right college at the highest level possible. I strive to be a role model for my community and to make my parents proud.
