Diogo Pagy Bonilha '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Diogo, I am a volleyball athlete, i am also from Brazil.
I am committed to play for Cornerstone University.

I had my first contact with the game when my grandfather, who played volleyball his entire life, and my mom, who also played volleyball her entire life, showed me about it, they are the main reason why i started playing this game.

I am an outside hitter, i love playing smart with good tips to empty spaces on the court, but also, using my strength on strong spikes.

I consider myself different from the other candidates first because i am a true leader, i really enjoy helping my teammates whenever they need, i also play really smart, i know when is time to push a good press serve, or when a float serve would be better, as one example. I also consider my experience from playing in another country very relevant as well.

Talking about academics, i have a 3.5 gpa, in a 4.0 scale, i am a senior and i am planning on studying something law related.
