I have played sports all my life; volleyball has been the one that has spoken to me the most. My mother and my father both played volleyball in college as actually met playing volleyball. Since then, they have always dreamed of having a volleyball kid to raise but having 2 sons in northern Minnesota, they assumed their dream to be unrealistic. But unlike the 1990s, I have a chance to play, so I make the 4-hour car ride every weekend to practice during the club season. In college, I hope to find a place for me to thrive both in the classroom as well as on the court if the opportunity presents itself. I have always been a hard worker in the classroom and my coaches tell me that I have always put the student in the student-athlete. I am currently in the process of figuring out where to go to college and if the chance to play volleyball is there, I will take a swing.
