Personal Statement

I am a 5' 8" (and still growing according to my pediatrician) very passionate setter from Raritan, New Jersey. I have 2 years experience as the starting setter with Warren Sixpack. I have been chosen captain of my club team for my dedication to the game both on and off the court. My school coach once asked me how many nights I dream about volleyball to which I replied; 8. My coach has often commented on my knowledge and study of the game to be equal to if not potentially better than his. I continue to enhance my abilities as both a leader and as a setter by playing high school & club year round along with playing beach during the summer. I would like to earn a degree in psychology and then go on to the Coast Guard after college to be a rescue swimmer and then move on to working for the government using my knowledge of speaking Chinese.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
