Armaan Desai '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Armaan Desai, I am a 6'5" middle blocker from the class of 2023. I have been playing volleyball for 4 club years, and have experience playing multiple positions, including outside hitter, middle hitter, and opposite hitter. My love for the sport dates back to when my 15 red club team won the silver bracket at the Atlantic City Invitational tournament. Since then, I also had the opportunity to play up with the 17 black team at Nationals in Kansas City. I made the High School varsity team as a sophomore after my freshman season was unfortunately canceled due to COVID. I take academics very seriously, and I am able to balance not only academics and sports, but also music. I play the piano and study music at the Westminster Conservatory of Music at Rider University, and I also play 2 sports at a varsity level: volleyball and swimming. On top of that, I maintain excellent grades in very rigorous classes. I would love to play volleyball in college and would like to study medicine, engineering, or computer science in college.
