I have been playing volleyball ever since seventh grade and after four years of playing varsity I know that I want to play at the college level. I am a strong student and am enrolled in many college level courses. In my college experience I am looking to fulfill both my academic and athletic goals.
When it comes to volleyball I am a defensive leader directing all the players to where they need to be in order to give the team its best success. I am a libero on both my club team (Lakeside Volleyball Club) and my high school team (Burnt Hills). This year I am a captain on the varsity team and in regards to college I have an open mind. At the moment I have not committed to a major but I have many different interests that can compare to many different majors. I am looking for a larger school (preferably 4000+) and I am open to any location.
On the court I'm a very calm player who knows how to perform under pressure. I do not let the pressure get to me and when I make a mistake I'm very good at scratching that play and moving to the next ready to fix my mistake. When my teammates make an error, I always make sure to stay encouraging and if needed, I will give my teammates constructive criticism in order to further their game and to benefit the team as a whole.
One of my best traits as a player is that I am very consistent. Even when I make mistakes I always make sure to bounce back on the next play. Growing up playing sports with my brother Alex has made me a very competitive player who accepts nothing but winning.
