My name is Craig Dannemiller and I am a junior at St. Xavier High School in Cincinnati, Ohio in the class of 2020. I play volleyball for my school, St. Xavier and also for the Cincinnati Attack Club. I have been playing volleyball since I was in third grade and have been in love with the sport since the beginning. I have also played soccer, and basketball although volleyball has become my focus since starting high school and club.
I play Libero and DS for my school, St. Xavier and for my club team, Cincinnati Attack. In the 2018-19 club season, I was asked to move up to the 18-1 team. I was excited for the opportunity to play up an age level and experience a higher level of competition. Our team had some success, winning two tournaments in the Ohio Valley Region.
I was voted team captain for my high school JV team, and I consider myself a leader on the court. I am a vocal player and feel it’s important for the Libero to be a team leader. I try to be a positive influence for my teammates and lead by example and effort. I definitely want to play volleyball at the college level and I am looking for a school that is a good fit and where I can have an impact on the team’s success.
