I started playing volleyball my freshman year of high school and immediately loved the sport. My freshman season was cancelled due to COVID. For my sophomore season I was a starter and one of our best middle blockers.
During my club season between my sophomore and junior seasons, I transitioned to outside hitter.
Currently, in my senior season, I play on a National 18U team for Vanguard Volleyball. During club, I transitioned to opposite, still playing outside as well. My team is participating in the AAU Nationals in Orlando this July, I am looking forward to competing during this tournament. Also, I am once again playing for my high school team as a starter and rotating through each position on the court, even playing backup setter.
For both teams, I will continue to work and improve on my game, while being the best teammate I can be by supporting and encouraging my teammates.
I spend most of my free time training for volleyball, whether it be clinics, practices, conditioning, or lifting weights.
My goal is to play college volleyball and be able to contribute to the success of the team. I plan to accomplish this by continuing my hard work on the court and in the classroom and by being the best teammate I can be by encouraging my teammates and being a leader.
Playing college volleyball would be a dream come true. Thank you for taking the time to view my profile. I would love the opportunity to speak with you about how I can be an asset to your team.
