While playing volleyball for only 3 years, I have always thought about playing at a higher level. I have learned the game, not just through the rules but also through teamwork, commitment, and sacrifice both in club and high school. While on those teams, I have mastered being a team player and involving all my teammates. I strive to help lead everyone by setting an example of what a good teammate should do. I try to involve everyone because some of the best teams are the ones who are close with one another. I have also learned commitment through my years of playing. Once I am on a team, I make sure to leave everything on the court - whether that is at practice or on the court during a game. I have also learned sacrifice because before the game itself, comes school. I am a student-athlete, which student comes before athlete.
I have dreamed about playing in a higher level of volleyball. Now I dream of playing in college while getting a good education and a degree. I will search for a college that is a good fit and will help my dream come true while preparing me for life outside of volleyball. I hope to prepare for the future while playing the game I love.
