Krish Vasan '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi Coaches!

My name is Krish Vasan, and I am a Junior at Casady School in Oklahoma City!

I would love to play competitive volleyball in college while pursuing my academic career. I have played club volleyball since 5th grade with Kaizen Volleyball Club, and we have won numerous tournaments over the years.  We have won multiple Lone Star tournaments and competed in Nationals.

As a Junior, I am the setter for the Casady Varsity Volleyball team, but I can play in different positions. I can block, hit, pass as well as play setter – whatever the team needs me to do! 

For school volleyball, we compete in the Southwest Preparatory Conference (SPC). In my Sophomore year, I was voted by all the SPC coaches on to the 'All-North Zone Team', which includes all Dallas area schools and one Oklahoma school. In my Junior year, I was voted 'All-SPC Team', which includes all the teams in Texas and Oklahoma.

At school, my academics are very important. I am a High Honors student that attends the top ranked independent school in Oklahoma by Niche. I am on the Diversity Committee for my school, and I am active in our Yearbook program, which has garnered national attention as a top publication. My dream in college is to pursue film, screenplay writing, and the arts.

In addition to volleyball, I play Varsity Tennis which is also a lot of fun.

I’m hoping to join a great team of people and develop more in the game of volleyball when playing at a high level!
