My collegiate goals are to continue working hard to maintain my status as an Honor Role student in Grade 12. When I am accepted into University I plan to graduate with a Bachelors Degree in Sports Management. What makes me a great candidate for a team is that I am a disciplined player that pushes myself to be able to play high quality volleyball. I thrive on working and practicing with strong players/coaches that push me to be the best I can be. What makes me different from other players is that I am an all round player meaning I can play all three positions. My starting position is left-side but I won a provincial title playing middle at times and made my US Nationals debut playing right-side the whole tournament. My versatility allows my coaches to move me around based on situations and as a team player, I do the best I can for the team. My emotional intelligence on and off the court allows me to build strong relationships with teammates and classmates. It also allows me to focus in stressful, high energy situations. One thing I do often is review my game tape to see where my improvements need to be. I also take the time to watch my future opponents to see their capabilities. It helps in my mental preparation for competition.
Academically, I completed my Sophomore and Junior year on the Honor Role while also exploring new subjects. I pride myself in being a good role model to other students in my classes and throughout the school. Lastly, my characteristics on and off the court are the same, I love to enjoy time with my teammates and I am always working hard to keep my teammates motivated and positive to ensure they play to the best of their abilities.
